Please let me know who you would recommend and how was your experience giving birth at El Camino Hospital?

Q: Do you know what “coffee brand does the restaurant Azulejos” in El Paso, Texas inside Camino Real hotel use?
I would like to know what coffee brand does the restaurant Azulejos serves its guest and hopefully where I can buy it as well.
A: That is going to be hard for someone to answer unless they work at that hotel, deliver the coffee to that hotel, or are a multi-time patron of that hotel.
But seriously, you should just call them and let them know the coffee was one of the high points of your stay at their hotel, and that you would like to purchase some for yourself and just ask them what it was! They should be more than happy to tell you
Q: what turn signal flasher do i use for a 86 el camino?
the one i got says wagner 323 12 volt flasher, but i think it’s the wrong one.
A: 90 percent fo the time the flashers are universal. your car may have 2 flashers, check and see if your car came with 2 flashers, or maybee just a bulb, the light can work but the seccond element in the bulb could be burnt,
Q: WHAT WOULD I NEED TO CHANGE ON MY 1971 EL CAMINO IF I ADD A PERFORMANCE CAMSHAFT?
i dont use the el camino to race but its just like a project car that i have,im only 16 so im tryna fix it up slowly.but i was wondering is there any other components i would have to change in order to put a new camshaft into it,im thinkin about puttin in an edelbrock camshaft into it.
also a supercharger sounds great, although in order to put that into it im pretty sure i would have to switch the tranny in order for it to be able to take the horsepower. right now it has the stock tranny. im just curious about this cuz later on i want to fix up the whole engine and make it a beast!!!
but yea any answers are welcome,
thanx guys i appreciate ur help.
A: you need some special tools, and a timing cover gasket kit , a set of valve cover gaskets…..a camshaft, 16 lifters, and instead of a timing chain and gear set-up…. a pete jackson gear drive set….and a little know how….there are plenty of mods you can do with out foolin around with a blower…..blowers are expensive…but keep dreamin my friend…i have a few classic cars and 2 of them are blown…..and you know how i got started in this business,….by dreamin….don’t ever loose sight of where you want to be in life….because you can get there if you believe you can…good luck with your dreams
Q: Whats the mpg for an early 80’s el camino with the 350 engine?
I am looking to buy one, good condition but I can’t find the estimated mpg. I own a pickup so I am used to bad mileage but I am not sure how bad. Thanks.
A: Not bad for a pickup http://www.gasaroo.com/model.jsp?modelId=1407
Q: My 1985 El Camino will not start once my starter gets hot, is this a starter problem?
My 85 El Camino won’t start once the engine and starter get hot. When the engine is cold the car turns on, but once i turn it off it won’t do anything when i turn the key. If I wait a several hours untill its cold it will turn on. And if i wait about an hour it still won’t do anything, but if I use jumper cables with another car it turns on. I have also noticed that a couple of weeks ago when I was looking under my car the starter was just hanging from the battery wires, apparently the bolts were lose and must have fallen out when driving. I have replaced the bolts since then but now everytime i try to start it (when its cold) i have to turn the key a couple of times because I can hear the starter spinning but only the starter my engine isn’t cranking. So I turn the key a couple of times and usuall by the 3rd or 4th time it crank. Are these problems related? Is my starter bad? Or do i have several problems here?
A: Replace your starter. GM rebuilt starters are pretty cheap under $60.
Q: What would be a great Rear End Gear Ratio for a ‘68 El Camino for track use?
I heard that the Rear End Gears in a car could contribute to a car’s Torque production. Is this true or accurate? I also heard that I could take my ‘68 El Camino to a shop and get the Rear End Gear Ratio changed to 4:11 Gears, to make it good for the Quarter Mile. One of my Dad’s friends said that if I put a set of Performance Traction Bars in it, some Mickey Thompson drag radical tires, and a 12 Bolt Positive Track Rear End, the car would be perfect for track. Tell me what you think.
A: thats actually not a bad set up you have in mind.. 4:11s may be too tall.. 12 bolt rear end with a auburn gear posi unit.. i personally like the feel of ladder bars since your in an el camino.. i had a 72 el camino.. had a set of ladder bars on it.. hold the brakes give it some gas and feel the rear lift for the launch man that was fun.. anyways good luck on your ride
Q: what motor would you put in a 79 el camino?
i have a 1979 el camino. i was wondering what motor should i put in it to make it fast but still be able to use the car everyday.
A: put a 350 in the girl You will not brake your bank. You will have some money for other things.
Q: Chevrolet El Camino for a new driver?
I am a new driver and I was wondering if getting a Chevy El Camino would be a good idea. I do not want to get a new car, but I don’t want to be spending alot of money fixing a used car. Are El Caminos good cars that will last or do they usually break down?
A: As someone who owns a ‘78 El Camino as a daily driver, this question is appropriate! I’ll try and give you the best advice I can. Even with a newer car around 2000, you can still have problems. The key is finding an El Camino in nice mechanical shape, cause there are plenty of abused ones out there. So be careful inspecting any that you happen to look at. The last year El Caminos were made was 1987 and there are still plenty on the road. That is a testament to their build quality. But unfortunately 70’s and 80’s GM cars had poor rust protection, so many driven in the north have deteriorated over the years. If you don’t drive ‘em in salt and snow, the body will last with no problem.
But always expect to have a couple things go wrong, even with a good example. They are old cars, so occasionally need things replaced. But fortunately with older cars like El Caminos, they are simpler and easier to work on yourself! Plus parts for old GM cars are very cheap compared to newer car parts. So if you do the work yourself, you’ll save a lot of $$$.
El Caminos are pretty neat cars though, and something unique among all the boring new cars. You can get G-body El Caminos for good prices nowadays (1978-1987). The 1973-1977 models usually aren’t that expensive either. My advice is to get one with either a 305 or 350 V8. The 4.3 V6 is a fine motor but only will get 2mpg better than a 305 or 350 V8.
Q: will the exaust system form a 1980 el camino match a 1980 camaro with some modifications?
i bought some duals from a guy just planning to use the mufflers but another guy said with slight mods the exaust system would fit my z28.
A: anything will fit anything with modifications. An Elcamino and a Camaro are totally different rigs. Slight mods are not going to make it fit.
Q: Ever seen an El Camino chase car for a U2?
I was just reading that U2 spy planes require chase cars to land properly…which are usually high performance cars. I guess in the early 80’s they used g-body El Caminos with 396 big blocks put in them. I can’t find specific info on these cars anywhere!
A: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ePs3WAbVkc Corvette
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWytQpH-wlk&feature=related Pontiac G8 and GTO
I’m sure they have always used high performance cars to chase them but realistically the landing speed is under 100 mph, I could chase them in my 1972 Chevy truck. The vette doesn’t even spend more than a second or two under partial throttle to get up to the landing speed.
Edit: watch the videos people, the U2 is very hard to land it is meant to fly at extreme altitudes where the air is thin, at almost ground level it really has to be forced to the ground. Combined with poor visibility in the cockpit and only two wheels for landing.
Q: what frame will fit an 82 el camino?
have an 82 with rust on frame, what frame can i use other than an el camino
A: It has to be another El Camino or GMC Caballero. The rear part of the frame is designed to only fit the El Camino/Caballero bed. The front and middle are the same as the Chevelle. The good news is they were almost the same from 78 to 87 so finding one shouldn’t be too hard.
Q: Whats an automatic shifter, and whats a good one for an El Camino?
1st- is an automatic shifter a shifter where you don’t need to use the clutch to shift, you just shift with the shifter, lets say your driving and your going from first to second you just use your lever to down down shift and you don’t even have to use the clutch
2nd- whats a good one for an El Camino
A: there is a hydraulic auto shifter they use them in pro stock very expensive
